Tieto renews supply chain system for Holmen
Iggesund Paperboard has selected Tieto to replace their current order processing systems with Tieto’s Integrated Paper Solution TIPS. Iggesund Paperboard is a member of the Holmen Group and Europe´s leading manufacturer of high quality virgin fibre paperboard for use in the packaging and graphics sectors The new system enables Iggesund Paperboard to increase customer satisfaction, offer more efficient support for internal business functions like sales, and to improve administration.
The supply chain system supports Iggesund Paperboard’s decision making with improved data quality, traceability and master data management. The system replaces several old systems reducing the complexity of the IT environment at Iggesund Paperboard. It covers sales order handling, warehousemanagement, invoicing, product cost calculations, production planning and delivery and dispatch, offering better transparency throughout the business processes.
